Rockland Baptist Church is an Evangelical Church with a purpose and a vision to accomplish God’s plan for the Church in the 21st century. Our vision focuses upon our dreams, aspirations (goals), or what should be, and commitment to accomplishing Jesus’ commission that was designated to the Church to transform people and their world through the proclamation and teaching of God’s Word. (Acts 2:42; 2 Tim 4:2)

As Rockland Baptist Church, we envision to be faithful in missions, preaching and teaching God’s Word, by means of proclaiming, instructing, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to obey everything that Jesus has commanded in the Gospel to believers. (Acts 2:42; Matt 28:19-20)

We envision glorifying God through our corporate and private worship, individual lives, family, ministry, fellowship, and in the church as the body of Christ. (Acts 2:42, 43, 47, 44, 46; 1 Co 12:12-13)

We envision preparing youth people and equipping them for various ministries in the local church and the mission fields. (1 Tim 5:12; 2 Tim 1:6; 2 Tim 4:11;

We envision becoming the church of teaching God’s Word for local and international communities unto which our members are sent to train, edify, evangelize, teach and preach the Gospel of salvation for all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20; Ex. 18:13-27)

We envision the equipping, edifying, and preparing of our youth and adult people for the varied ministries and leaderships in the local church and community, helping them to discern the divine purpose for their life so that they are able to serve God more effectively.(Acts 2:42; Eph. 4:12)

We envision the equipping and training of our children for the work of ministry by exposing them to and instructing them in the Word of God. (Mark 9:37-37; Ex.10:9)

We envision that every member of the church would be involved in small group ministries with the goal that every member be a minister. (1 Peter 2:9; Acts 2:47)

We envision planting a new daughter church every five to seven years in the USA or abroad. (Acts 5:42; 10:47-48; Acts 13)

We envision buying land and building a larger facility with a convenient parking lot. This facility will provide rooms for the worship center, seat a minimum of 700, provide classrooms for Sunday school, Christian school, Bible study groups, small groups, children groups, youth groups, adult and senior groups, music groups, seminars, varied educational designs, ministries and meetings, sports activities, and kitchen and multipurpose fellowship space.(1 Kings 6:1; John 4:23-24; 2 Tim 2:2; Rom 12:1; Acts 2:44, 46, 47)
